Ya I know, ain't gonna happen. Doesn't mean I can't call for it. Impeach the bastards, get them out of the White House, put them on trial for crimes against the humanity, declare them guilty, then throw away the key.
From Ron Paul:
"Today Secretary of Defense Ashton Carter appeared before the Senate Armed Services Committee to outline a new US military strategy for the Middle East. The Secretary admitted the failure of the US “train and equip” program for rebels in Syria, but instead of taking the appropriate lessons from that failure and get out of the “regime change” business, he announced the opposite. The US would not only escalate its “train and equip” program by removing the requirement that fighters be vetted for extremist ideology, but according to the Secretary the US military would for the first time become directly and overtly involved in combat in Syria and Iraq.
As Secretary Carter put it, the US would begin “supporting capable partners in opportunistic attacks against ISIL (ISIS), or conducting such missions directly, whether by strikes from the air or direct action on the ground.”
It's absolutely incredible that Obama evidently has an 80% approval rating among Democrats. The pollsters must be calling the people on Daily Kos and the like. It shows how effective U.S. propaganda is that there aren't hundreds of thousands of people in the streets demanding the end to U.S. wars in the Central Asia, Middle East and North Africa region. It also shows how ignorant and apathetic the American people are concerning what it's government is doing in their names around the world.
"The fact is, the neocons who run US foreign policy are so determined to pull off their regime change in Syria that they will risk the lives of untold US soldiers and even risk a major war in the region — or even beyond – to escalate a failed policy. Russian strikes against ISIS and al-Qaeda must be resisted, they claim, because they are seen as helping the Assad government remain in power, and the US administration is determined that “Assad must go.
This is not our war. US interventionism has already done enough damage in Iraq and Syria, not to mention Libya. It is time to come home. It is time for the American people to rise up and demand that the Obama Administration bring our military home from this increasingly dangerous no-win confrontation. We must speak out now, before it is too late!"
The war in Syria has been a U.S. initiated and led war from the beginning. The same type of lies used against Saddam Hussein and Moammar Gadhafi have been used against Bashar Assad and Syria to implement a regime change and country balkanization. They've used their proxy terrorist and mercenary army and their allies Israel, Saudi Arabia and others to do most of the dirty work instead of sending in U.S. troops for a "Shock and Awe", but it's the same damn thing, an illegal war of aggression.
Obama is just as much a war criminal as George W. Bush and he and his staff should be run out of town immediately.
Again, it won't happen, at least not now, but we can't rest. The arrest of Tony Blair for his role in the Iraq war may not be an impossible dream. Once the ball starts rolling, it might keep on going to Obama.
The truth is known. It's a matter of matching it up with Lady Justice.
But ya, it's time for people to hit the streets. There's a lot of people getting ready, trying to figure out how to pull it off. Combine that with the Great Election Boycott of 2016 and next year looks like it could be the Year of the Serf.
If it's not too late.
The weekend of July 23, 2016, is an interesting time, coming as it does between the the national conventions the two branches of The Party.
ReplyDeleteThe Red Team meets July 18-21 in Cleveland, while the Blue Team will be getting together July 25-28 in Philadelphia. Both extravaganzas have been designated National Spectacle Security Events, meaning that the Dept. of Homeland Security, especially the SS, will be ensuring that Very Special Party Members are kept secure in their accustomed Homeland bubbles - and that no serfs are allowed to go ... off-narrative.
But Oct. 23rd looks interesting in a 1968 DNC Redux kind of way . . .
Could be a hot summer. Back in what was it, 2012 they were predicting a Summer of Rage in Britain and possibly here. Didn't happen like that but next year the stars are aligning.
DeleteDrat! This commenting system seriously needs an edit function.
ReplyDeleteBut I think you get my point. (I hope.)
Ya, I'm thinking about converting to another blog option if I keep blogging. For now, I'm not getting very many views so we'll see.
DeleteBut I did get your point. Thanks.
