Al Qaeda fighters execute 56 Syrian soldiers, activists say
So I brought up the article and much to my surprise:
"Al Qaeda-affiliated militants summarily executed 56 Syrian government soldiers days after wresting control of a strategic airbase in the northwestern part of the country, a monitoring group said Saturday.
Jihadists with the Nusra Front, Al Qaeda’s Syrian affiliate, as well as the Turkistan Islamic Party, another militant group, executed 56 troops taken prisoner last week as rebels overran the Abu Duhur air base in Idlib province, according to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, a pro-opposition watchdog group based in Britain."
The propaganda key here is in bold, Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, SOHR for short is a western ruling class propaganda outlet. The ruling class media uses the SOHR for the majority of it's propaganda about what's happening in Syria and always says something like "activists say" and "pro-opposition", trying to perpetuate the false narrative that the war in Syria is a "civil war".
Who knows about the L.A. Times article, it could be true, it could be false propaganda. That's the nature of propaganda, the only way to fight it is to become knowledgeable enough about the issue to connect your own dots.

Those with a horse in the race (Sanders, Clinton, Trump, Bush) go "fraud"? What do you mean fraud? My candidate is the only hope man. He's/She's not a fraud. Especially the Bernie supporters. I've seen them say things like, "he's the only hope we have left", and "Bernie is the only honest politician left". I saw a diary on Daily Kos, the flagship Feel the Bern blog, that proudly proclaimed that Jesus Christ himself would vote for Bernie Sanders. Even though he's an imperialist/zionist who supports the false narratives of U.S. imperialism and Israeli Zionism that result in the deaths of millions of innocent people. Ya right, Jesus would vote for that.
It's the same as the Obamabots, humans get caught up in the manufactured ruling class bullshit and think another politician who promises them a chicken in every pot is going to make a fucking difference. They get so caught up in the bullshit that they accept evil positions that favor Israeli apartheid and U.S. imperialism and say "don't let the perfect be an enemy of the good". Like wanting to end war and imperialism is a wish for perfection.
Anyway, regarding the presidential race. I predicted after the 2012 election that next up we'd have another Bush versus Clinton election. The ruling class would shove their most evil families to the front and let the public choose their lesser evil in a true show of American demockery. It looked like that for awhile until Bush seemingly started to falter and Bernie Sanders fooled the fools again.

Here we had Obama making people Praise the Lord and sing Hallalujah while getting awarded a Nobel Peace Prize, then he turned out to be an even more evil imperialist than Bush. And yet the same people who voted for the bastard are lining up to label Bernie Sanders as the best thing since, well, Obama.
It's like they listen but don't listen. It's like Paul Ryan saying his favorite band is Rage Against the Machine. It doesn't make any fucking sense. It's straight out of Ripley's Believe it Or Not. "Don't get fooled again man, but hey vote for Bernie".
But trust me, you can't convince them they're being fooled again. It's just has to play out, then they'll figure it out and prepare themselves to, you guessed it, get fooled again. There's always someone the ruling class can present to the sheeple to make them nod their little heads.
Feel the Bern. What's going to happen is they're going to Feel the Burn. It won't last and it never was intended to last. Bernie is the sheepdog and it's working fairly well. But he/they haven't fooled the far left, those who won't get fooled again. Those who have made their minds up to not get fooled again. I'd imagine when Bernie the Sheepdog is defeated in the Primary election by Hillary Clinton there will be weeping and moaning and gnashing of the teeth from many Bernie supporters who will at first tell the world, or anyone who will listen, that no way in hell will they vote for Hillary Clinton. But most, wedded to the lesser evil syndrome, will end up pulling the lever anyway because God Forbid we get Trump or Bush. At least Clinton is a Democrat and we know what we get from Democrats. And not voting is blasphemy. We live in the greatest democracy in the universe all because we get to vote for politicians who don't represent us.
Now, you can see how the ruling class media is slowly turning the ship. Clinton's email problems are slowly disolving into yesterday's news and Bush's favorable ratings are inching to the top of the unbelievably ridiculous Republican lineup.
I think Clinton is going to end up beating Bernie because that's the way it was supposed to be. The billion dollar campaign fund and the manipulation from the media will bring the manufactured process full circle and another curtain will fall on a ruling class Democratic party production.
On the rethuglican side, I still see a Bush in the future. Throw out all the polls and prognostications from the lamestream media, the ruling class will give us the choices they want to give us. That's how it works, that's how everything works. Bush is connected, Bush has the money, Bush has the pictures his Daddy gave him of all the othes republicans having sex with lightposts. Bush knows the secrets. Washington D.C. is a town of secrets and those who control them stay on top.
So I still think we're going to have a Bush versus Clinton general election for President of the United States of Imperialism. Which is perfect. The ruling class thinks they're being smart asses about the whole thing but it plays right into the Revolution's hands. There could be no better combination of choices than Bush vs Clinton to piss off a large percentage of the public, even the world. There couldn't be a better example that shows this country is not a democracy like they like to tell us in grade school (and which some people manage to believe beyond that), but a managed oligarchy/plutocracy.
Maybe a Bush versus Clinton matchup will be the straw that breaks the Ruling Class' back. I hope so.

But I know I can't leave it solely up to you. You don't know what to do either. So I thought I'd start a blog. I could start my own blog and save the world. Then I thought that probably wouldn't work either. Alot of people have started their own blogs and not one of them has saved the world. Nada. Zilch. We know that because the world still needs saving.

Then I thought, what if all those people who want to save the world and started their own blogs actually joined together to save the world. Like combine all their blogs into one giant Save the World blog. Or maybe call it, the One and Only Definitive Save the World blog.
At least then you'd have all the bloggers who wanted to save the world in one place . But the fact still remains that no blog has ever saved the world. So even if we got all the people who wanted to save the world and who had started a blog all in one place on one blog, the odds would still be very long relative to the primary mission of Saving the World.
Now, what if all the people who wanted to save the world and had started blogs got together in one place and gave voice to all the other people who want to save the world but haven't started a blog? What if ALL the people who wanted to save the world could actually come together into one voice? Maybe then we might get somewhere. Maybe then that blog could actually contribute to saving the world.
There are tons of people around the planet that want to save the world, but they don't know what to do. They're leaving it up to us and we're leaving it up to them. Obviously that's got to stop, it's getting us nowhere. We can't leave it up to anybody else. Look where that's got us.
If we can just find the key. We need to find the key man.
This is typical of Bernie Sanders supporters, evidently more so among the younger set.

Recently more have questioned the lack of elaboration from Bernie Sanders regarding his foreign policy positions. Up until now it's been obvious that he's almost entirely focused his campaign, speeches and appearances on Wall Street greed and income and wealth inequality. That's where he's making his fans, certainly not for his foreign policy issues.
So think about what that young person said about her and other young people supporting Bernie Sanders,
"he focuses on the issues that young people truly care about".
So the obvious inference is that young people don't truly care about their government and country rampaging around the planet killing people. Typical Americans. Of course it's not just young people, most Sanders supporters have lent that support because of what he says he can do for them.
"Hey, fifteen bucks an hour man, I don't care about the War OF Terror".
Sounds kind of selfish to me. While U.S. imperialism, which Sanders fully supports, rapes and pillages the world, killing innocent humans, causing millions to flee their homes, causing babies and children to drown as they're trying to escape the ravages of U.S. imperialism, the young Sanders supporters don't give a damn because those aren't issues they "truly care about".
And we wonder what the fuck is wrong with our country.

The Sanders’ campaign, like the Obama phenomenon before it, does not offer a program or strategic direction for addressing the current crisis and contradictions of Western capitalist societies. Instead, it is an expression of the moral and political crisis of Western radicalism. This crisis – which is reflective of the loss of direction needed to inform vision, and fashion a creative program for radical change – is even more acute in the U.S. than Western Europe. Yet, what unites both radical experiences is a tacit commitment to Eurocentrism and the assumptions of normalized white supremacy.
In their desperate attempt to defend Sanders and paint his critics as dogmatists and purists, the Sanders supporters have not only fallen into the ideological trap of a form of narrow “left” nativism, but also the white supremacist ethical contradiction that reinforces racist cynicism in which some lives are disposable for the greater good of the West.
And as much as the ‘Sandernistas ’ attempt to disarticulate Sanders “progressive” domestic policies from his documented support for empire (even the Obamaite aphorism “The perfect is the enemy of the good” is unashamedly deployed), it should be obvious that his campaign is an ideological prop – albeit from a center/left position – of the logic and interests of the capitalist-imperialist settler state.
The silence of the left on Yemen is not a trivial matter. The fact that so many white leftist supporters of Sanders can politically and psychologically disconnect his domestic program from his foreign policy positions that objectively support U.S. and Western neoliberal hegemony means that not only have they found a way to be comfortable collaborating with imperialism, but that they have also decided that they can support the implicit hierarchy that determines from an imperial perspective that lives in the White West matter more than others."
He wraps it up with a biting criticism of the left for it's support for Bernie Sanders, U.S. Imperialism and the ruling class Democratic party.
"It means that if today leftists in the U.S. can find a way to reconcile the suffering of the people of Yemen and Gaza and all of occupied Palestine for the greater good of electing Sanders, tomorrow my life and the movement that I am a part of that is committed to fighting this corrupt, degenerate, white supremacist monstrosity called the United States, can be labeled as enemies of the state and subjected to brutal repression with the same level of silence from these leftists.
And since tomorrow has already happened in the past with the repression of the Black Liberation Movement, when it happens again we will not be surprised – but this time we will be ready."
There are serious divisions on the left at this point regardless the wonderment from the Sanders supporters because they can't imagine how others on the left can't see he's the "only hope left". It reminds me of an old union song, "Which Side are you on?"
