U.S. Imperialism and the Progressive Left

I read a good article about U.S. imperialism putting in perspective the intractable nature of it at this time.  The author provides a good summary of its history from the "internal" Manifest Destiny imperialism involving wiping out the savage Indians, forcing the few that remained onto reservations basically ending with the massacre at Wounded Knee in 1890.  Then attention was fully turned to external imperialism starting in Cuba and the Phillipines. 

"Then, something utterly dreadful happened in 1917—a successful social revolution in Russia, the second major after the French in 1789, to try to redistribute the wealth of the few to the advantage of the many. The rulers of the world—US, Britain, France and sundry acolytes—put aside their differences and united to stem the awful threat of popular democracy rising and spreading. They invaded Russia, fomented a civil war, funding and arming the counter-revolutionary forces, failed, and tried again in 1939. But Hitler’s war of extermination on the USSR ended in a spectacular victory for Moscow."

After WWII there was the Cold War against communism and the Soviet Union starting with the insanely cruel Korean war, then the Vietnam war and finally the dissolution of the Soviet Union in 1991. 

The next stage of U.S. imperialism was aimed at insuring and solidifying the U.S. as the sole superpower on the planet.  Democratic President Bill Clinton started out with the obviously misleading "Humanitarian" war doctrine leading to inhumane sanctions against Iraq killing 500,000 innocent children, absolutely astounding and something that should be included in the annals of history's most evil crimes.  Then the illegal Kosovo war, by the way, voted for by Bernie Sanders, which was secured by its "Mafia" strong-armed influence over the United Nations.

The Project for a New American Century (PNAC) plan, along with their false flag attack on New York City and the Pentagon on 9/11 ushered in the hyper imperialism stage we're still experiencing fifteen years later.  Democratic and Republican Presidents and administrations have been equal partners and there is a solid "Washington Consensus" behind the neocon plan to insure the U.S. remains the one "indispensable" nation on earth. 

So in reality what we have is a long term institution of imperialism in this country that has reached an end game stage at the beginning of the 21st century.  It is part of the "soul" of this country since it's inception and the current stage is an intractable as it can get.  The military industrial complex and now the incredible homeland security and spying complexes combined with an emerging fascist police state are ingrained deeply into all aspects of American life and sheepishly accepted by the masses of serfs brainwashed to the hilt since early childhood. 

The author of the article had this to say at the end:

"In this scenario, no potential presidential candidate—even establishment-party dissenter—who does not call for both the end of the bi-partisan “Washington Consensus” and the end of bipartisan militarist aggression can reverse the totality of the “international wrong” or stem the domestic descent into social brutalization. If none calls this foreign policy debacle “imperialism,” elections will be a sleepwalker’s exercise. Nothing will change. Except, almost certainly, for the worse."

None of the Presidential contenders will say the word imperialism.  They all maintain we should have the largest, most powerful military on earth.  None can challenge the long history of U.S. imperialism or the Washington Consensus for global hegemony.  None will challenge the power of the deep state and the alphabet agencies that do their deeds, the CIA, NSA, NGOs, institutions, and foundations.  It just won't happen within our political system.  I could say we need to take to the streets to demand its end but its going to take much more than that.  The history of U.S. imperialism is long and cruel and won't die easily.

It sure won't happen if much of the progressive left continues to pay it lip service without actually saying the damn word.  Take the so far signature event for the left for 2016, the "People's Summit".  Go to the website and here's what they're fighting for (besides the Democratic party):

Not a single word about imperialism, not even any props about stopping war or militarism.  What the fuck.  I don't get it.  It's not even about Bernie Sanders so the excuse that Sanders can't say the fucking word because then he couldn't become President doesn't even apply.  And they still can't say the damn word.  Americans have long accepted U.S. imperialism because its contributed to their American way of life, the vaunted American dream built on the murder of people in other countries and the taking of their wealth.  The W.E.B. Dubois quote above shows that.  Here we are again with the People's Summit seeking higher wages and better health care as their share of the imperialist bounty.

The incongruity is that without ending U.S. imperialism and the accompanying one trillion dollar per year pricetag, there will never be any of that the people behind the Summit are seeking. And then there's the killing and the ruining of millions of people's lives.  It's estimated U.S. imperialism has been responsible for the deaths of 30 million people since the end of WWII.  Apparently the number is too large to make an impact.  Maybe if U.S. imperialism was responsible for the deaths of twenty daycare children in Kansas people would pay attention. 

The United States of Empire if currently fucking with South America, Africa, the Middle East, Central Asia, Russia, China and even Europe.  The Obama administration has advanced the imperialist stage started by the neocons and there's plenty more to be done.  Many believe we're closer to WWIII then at anytime since the early 60's of the Cold War.  Certainly the chaos and misery being spread for the filthy rich bastards benefiting most from U.S. imperialism is astounding and increasing and flat out evil.  These are criminals of the highest order.  Think of Tony Blair, George Bush, Dick Cheney, Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton, Henry Kissinger, John Kerry, all scumbags that should be in orange jumpsuits in prison. 

There must be a push to end U.S. imperialism.  Everything else depends on it.    

Are Young People Energized, or is it just Memorex?

Are young people energized?  I’ve heard this theme since early on in Sanders’ campaign, that at the very least he’s energized a bunch of young people to go forth and slay the dragons. 

Well you know, I say bullshit.  Not that there hasn’t been a bunch of young people new to the game who have joined the neverending quest to fight the power.  The problem is there are always a bunch of young people that become active or involved in politics and other sorts of activism.  Now isn’t any different.  It’s no different than the 60’s when a bunch of young people protested the Vietnam war and the draft.  It's no different than when young people staged anti-nuclear protests in the 70's and 80's.  It’s no different than in 1999 when a bunch of young people protested the World Trade Organization.  It’s no different than 2003 when a bunch of young people protested the Iraq war. It’s no different than 2011 when a bunch of young people joined the Occupy movement.

Then they get older, have families or not and become older people hoping the young people will fucking do something!  Do something young people dammit!!  We did!  Sort of.  Except here we are in the year 2016 and things are basically FUBAR with no end in sight to the madness.  Whatever was done certainly wasn't enough. 

People say more and more are awakening to the situation at hand, the rigged and corrupt political system, the incredible growing wealth inequality, the rigged and unbalanced economy and financial system, capitalism itself.  Maybe so, but I don't see that translating into a revolution and I still see the lemmings stand at attention and screaming with delight when the national anthem is played while the jets roar overhead off to kill someone, anyone, so the American Dream can remain a dream. 

That’s sound cynical I know, but is it true?  Is what is happening SSDD (same shit different day)?  I think so.  I don’t see anything that’s any different and I see the serfs accepting their fate in the end just like always.  I see either Clinton or Trump in the White House with a Republican majority Congress, no end in sight to the endless political bullshit that has Americans approving of Congress at absurd levels below ten percent. Even if Sanders ends up winning I don't see any change worth talking about, not relative to the change we need.  I see continuation of the endless wars, U.S. imperialism, austerity for the masses, wealth inequality, and the ruling elite gaining more and more power and control.  And I see the next election when we do it all over again.

I don’t see anything different, I don’t feel it. That's not against those feeling the "Bern".  I just don't see anyone doing anything that hasn't been done countless times before while the noose continues to tighten.  While the crimes go on.  That's the thing, people are being hurt as we speak.  Its more than with drones and proxy terrorists, look at what's happened to Brazil and Venezuela.  Far from the Middle East, U.S. imperialism is waging war on those countries and the governments the ruling class doesn't want.  This hurts real people.  It causes poverty, anguish and despair among the serfs.  The western ruling class is a ruthless mafia that will take down anyone that doesn't cooperate and hurt anyone in their way.  These are crimes of immense magnitude and yet we seem powerless to stop them.  

There’s talk about this “People’s Summit” in Chicago, a far cry from the 2011 Occupy happening.  The same old people affiliated with the democratic party and the establishment talking about the same old things, campaign finance reform, a higher minimum wage, stopping the TPP, saving the Whales.  Not a thing about ending the power of the super rich and powerful, ending imperialism, ending capitalism, seeking freedom and real democracy.   More speeches, more books, more conferences, while the Beat Goes On. 

How about Bernie’s “Revolution”?  What’s to become of that after he tells his supporters they need to get behind Clinton so she can beat Trump?  Many are hopeful it will morph into some kind of independent people’s movement or a valid third party effort. 

SSDD.

Many Sanders supporters won’t like this level of cynicism.  They truly believe “there’s something happening here", even if "what it is ain’t exactly clear”.  I don’t, not now.  Not when Sanders is going to endorse Clinton and the Democratic Party.  Not when the only people organizing anything
significant are the astroturfs and democratic party affiliated liberals and progressives who enable the war crimes and backstabbing of the people by the Democratic party.   The cooptation of any type of independent movement from the left has already happened and it’s working, again.

So why am I saying this?  I’m saying it because I believe we can’t accept the same old thing, we have got to look at things differently.  The power those that rule over us have is astounding.  Look at what they can do to an elected government of a sovereign country, like Venezuela or Brazil.  They can tear countries apart without a single shot from the tanks or jets because their war machine is much larger and broader than an enormous military.  They can stage fake protests, color revolutions, murders, anything they want to overcome any real people’s movement.

It’s no different here.  If Bernie did become President and tried to do anything the ruling elite didn't want, they'd simply take the same measures in this country they did in Brazil or Venezuela or Ukraine.  They have the power, not some measly President.  They can take down Presidents any fucking time they want. 

Regardless of how some feel about the Occupy movement, it was coopted and crushed by the ruling class.  As I said earlier, it’s already happening now with the efforts to riff off Sanders' Democratic party campaign.  I see the same thing with the upcoming “People’s Summit” and whatever else is on the horizon this year.  Efforts will revolve around working within the system because that’s how the cooptation works.  They will guide and steer participants and activists into the veal pen until the next election campaigning starts, then we’ll start over again.   Here's what the People's Summit is about, beside heavy democratic party flavor:

We need radical, we don’t need the same old shit.  We need to take away the power the ruling elite have and give it to We the People.  We need real Democracy.  I don’t see any effort like that happening or even being talked about.  Radical discussions to overturn the power, really overturn the power, i.e., revolucion!, are dismissed, discounted, and even ridiculed so the course can stay on the straight and narrow.  "We just have to elect better progressives at all levels", "we need to get money out of politics", "we need campaign finance reform" "We need fifteen bucks an hour!".  I've heard that shit for years and years while the treachery of the ruling elite gets ever more sinister and brazen.  While hedge fund managers make over ONE BILLION DOLLARS A YEAR.  That's not what we need, we need to throw the criminals in jail, overturn the power and implement real democracy.  We have to try to end the madness for the sake of the human race and the planet.  We can't settle for peanuts here, this is a fight for humanity, not Medicare for all or free college.

I have hope.  I do agree more and more have awakened to what we're facing, they know the evil that permeates the earth must be exorcised. There's a real revolution waiting to happen and people waiting to join.  But it won't happen with elections or campaign finance reform or rescission of Citizen's United.  It won't happen with more conferences held by the astroturfers and Democratic party activists.  That's why I'm saying this, to try to head off another failed opportunity.  We have Trump vs. Clinton.  Some people call that a travesty, which is true.  But its also an opportunity because there could be no better matchup to expose the false illusions of this country. 

Others have to step forward.  We don't need a People's Summit with more Pete Seeger songs, lectures from Naomi Klein and Juan Cole and appearances by Cornel West and Code Pink. We need the people who are angry and will not compromise and want nothing less than freedom from tyranny.  It will happen, but I don't see it happening anytime soon.  

NCAA Basketball Championship Game Glorifies Murderous U.S. Wars and Imperialism

Growing up and maturing during the Cold War (Part I) and the Asian communism era the American public was bombarded with media depicting the Soviet Union and China public as cold, obedient brainwashed robots. That's the perception the western ruling class wanted to make to create the de-humanization mindset necessary for their own brainwashing of the American people. A good deal of it was true, communist propaganda and brainwashing did it's job well keeping the masses controlled.

I played professional basketball in West Germany in the 80's and in one tournament we played a team from Yugoslavia, a communist controlled country at the time. I had my perception and they sure did their part in reinforcing it with their unsmiling, nearly robotic approach to playing the game.

Tonight I watched the College men's championship basketball game, a major athletic event in this country. To prepare for the game they had the usual singing of the Star Spangled Banner. First they made a big deal about the U.S. military, introducing members from each of the Armed Forces. Then a Sailor from the U.S. Navy in dress blues sang the song. 

Americans are no different than the Communists were, they're just as brainwashed and controlled. Of course as it turns out, we've always been the same.

I once didn't notice, but once you do it changes everything. Watching the spectacle of all the humans paying homage to a murderous, imperialist military that is trying to maintain Full Spectrum Dominance over the entire planet, it's atmosphere and space to enrich the ruling class reminded me of the brainwashed communists watching their parades with the tanks and jets parading by. Or all the people raising their hand outstretched toward the sky in the "Hitler Salute".

It makes me wonder how many people have actually reached the point I have, the point where you not just realize, but KNOW, that's it all been an illusion. That we've all been led along to live our lives in a constructed manner without thinking about the terrible basis behind all of it. Without thinking about the fact that humans have not changed their warring ways for 7000 years, still unable to progress past it.

I'm reminded of the Doors famous song, "Break on Through (to the other side)". Maybe humans are simply hard wired for war, maybe it can never end. Or maybe if enough people can see through the illusions we can reach a turning point in human civilization. Maybe if more people knew about the lies and the deceit.

Hillary Clinton Cannot Earn your Vote, She's a Murderer

I've been seeing this absurd notion from many Sanders supporters in their process of deciding what to do if Sanders is not the nominee that Clinton would have to earn their vote. The premise is if Clinton adopts some of Sanders' proposals and platforms, i.e., the proverbial moving to the left thing, then maybe they would vote for her after all, just like Bernie will tell them to do. They say as long as Bernie asks them to vote for Clinton for the right reasons and not just to beat the Republicans, then maybe, just maybe, they'll vote for a WAR CRIMINAL.

OK then, those saying this are showing their true colors. They're Sanders supporters who the Bernie was going to use to start a "Revolucion" and yet they're saying that they would vote for Hillary Clinton under the right circumstances.

Again I ask, what the fuck kind of revolution are they running? If they're actually willing to vote for a MURDERER, what does that say about what they'd accept as their so called revolution? Many if not most have been told, informed, and absorbed by osmosis the fact that Hillary Clinton, along with Barack Obama, was the guiding force behind the illegal and immoral war against Libya. They've been told that Clinton is responsible for the deaths of hundreds of thousands and the displacement of millions.

And yet they're willing to vote for her if she pledges to seek single payer, free college, and more taxes on Wall Street.

What am I missing here?

This is something I've been struggling with for some time now. The fact that people will get "up in arms" about a child molester living down the street, or a serial killer, or a serial rapist, wanting them to be put away for life. Their disgust is palpable as it should be. Yet the knowledge that the Secretary of State and President of the United States of Empire ordered an illegal bombing of a sovereign country based on lies resulting in the MASS MURDER of hundreds of thousands doesn't register as comparable. They've accepted that as OK because it's the government. Because it's the President and the Secretary of State and that's what they've always done.

When you think about it and really get down to the substance of it all, the history of human behavior, it's pretty amazing we haven't evolved farther than this. It's like Truman bombing Nagasaki and Hiroshima killing over two hundred thousand. A completely illegal and immoral act, saying it was unnecessary shouldn't even be in the conversation. And yet it's accepted that these are the decisions our government leaders have to make and the results are part of the deal. Kissinger and the million dead in Cambodia. Vietnam and LBJ. Bush and Iraq. Obama and Clinton in Syria and Libya. On and on it goes, where it stops nobody knows.

Hillary Clinton can't earn anyone's vote, she's a mass murdering psychopath. Suggesting that if she just says the right things while political campaigning is stuck in an era long past. 

The Great Election Boycott of 2016

"HEDGES: But could it go down and down, and what we end up with is a form of neofeudalism, a rapaciously wealthy, oligarchic elite with a kind of horrifying police state to keep us all in order?

HUDSON: This is exactly what happened in the Roman Empire."

Assuming Bernie Sanders doesn't win the oligarchy's democratic party nomination for President of the Empire, I see two options for those that won't vote for Hillary "the War Criminal" Clinton or Donald "He's One of Them for Gawd's Sake" Trump, although it looks like it's going to be Cruz now.  Trump has simply worn out his welcome, his big fat mouth has done him in.  This is also assuming Bernie Sanders does not decide to run as an independent as he promised and endorses Hillary "the War Criminal" Clinton as he's inferred.

Get behind third party candidates or boycott the national election.

The reason why I say "assuming" Bernie Sanders does or doesn't do the above is because if Sanders does win the nomination or run as a third party candidate, then most of the left will devote their time, effort and money on his run against the republican nominee. Citizen activism would remain in election mode until November, significantly hampering any chances at a progressive third party effort or an election boycott. Just the way the ruling class wants it.

They're two very different things with two very different goals. Voting third party seeks to make a statement against the two party duopoly as a sort of protest vote. The goal is to join others to show our political leaders their dissatisfaction with the duopoly and perhaps push them in the direction they want on issues. Some actually believe they can use third parties to slowly penetrate the duopoly's hold and sway political arguments and decisions that way. The evidence indicates that's largely a pipe dream.

Even if it were possible, the bottom line is the political system we live under is an oligarchy controlled by a plutocracy. It's been scientifically proven. We have 535 people who supposedly "represent" 330 million people. That's not democracy, that's by definition an oligarchy, a small group of people who make the decisions, rules and laws for everyone else.

It's always going to be that way until we change the system. Voting for third parties is simply trying to participate in an oligarchic system, a corrupted and rigged one at that.

I find most people who have voted most of their lives disagree with an election boycott, some quite vehemently. But turnout for elections has been declining with 2012 tallying an historically low mark of 37%. That's 63% of eligible voters that did not vote. In a democracy that's called a "super majority". So clearly a boycott would not be anathema to a large percentage of Americans. They basically already do it.  The same pattern is playing out in other western countries whose political systems have been captured and controlled by the plutocracies. 

Those against a boycott argue that it will just be chalked up to apathy and accomplish nothing. Like voting for congress and President accomplishes anything. Or they argue that voting third party sends a better message. They say that last election proves it, even when 63 percent of eligible voters do not vote, no one notices.

Of course no one will notice if it's done it silently, if it's done without organization and effort. People are willing to knock on doors until their feet bleed to get other people to vote for their favorite politicians. Obviously a boycott won't work unless it's organized and publicized to a degree that it could create the conditions for changing the political system. The goal would have to be specific, a changing of the political system and the method of boycott would have to be common and transferable to all participating citizens, particularly those already de facto boycotting.

If more people decide to vote third party or compromise their morals by voting lesser evil, what does that accomplish? Many progressives and liberals will vote for Jill Stein of the Green Party. Many libertarians will vote for another third party and many conservatives will vote for whatever other parties are out there. Each third party will get anywhere from .01 to 1.5 percent of the vote, either Clinton or Trump (or Cruz) will become President and we'll be FUBAR again for four more years until the oligarchy lets us play again.

Voting third party certainly isn't an avenue to change the political system and again, the political system is so rigged that third parties have no chance or at best present a course of action that would take decades to have any significant impact in Congress. Check out the number of third party politicians at the national level since WWII - 4. That's four third party Congressional representatives in the last seventy years.

So it depends on what you want, starting with democracy itself. Do you want democracy? If so, then this current system will never provide that. Do you really want Power to the People? This is where it must be said, "be careful what you ask for", like your Grandma used to say. Democracy isn't easy, it requires effort and it's got it's own set of pros and cons and certainly isn't perfect. If that's what people want then we have to reject the current system and demand a new one.

Or are you satisfied with an oligarchy but want a new and improved oligarchy? Then voting for Bernie Sanders or Jill Stein might be the better option. Perhaps after another seventy years we could have four more third party national representatives.

Looking down the road a question to be asked is "how much longer can this national representative political system of 535 representatives last in this country"? Forever? Two hundred years? One hundred?  Unless you answer forever, then you're in effect admitting that eventually it should be replaced. If that's the case, why wait one hundred years? How much worse can it get than to have an oligarchy controlled by a plutocracy waging war across the planet, funneling all the wealth to the top 1% and enacting a complete full spectrum dominance police state in the Land of the Free and Home of the Brave?

Why wait for democracy, why wait for a system that represents all the people instead of one that represents the wealthy and powerful?

As soon as the possibility came on the horizon, I thought a Clinton vs. Bush election contest would be a perfect time to challenge the system. Now it turns out it will be Clinton vs. Trump/Cruz which is the same thing if not worse. The symbolism of electing one person to make decisions for 330 million people with the choice between a de factor war criminal and a narcissistic lying billionaire should turn the stomach of anyone with any sense of personal freedom on this planet. This is a situation any self respecting human should reject at hand. It is time for freedom. 

What Presidential Candidate will be better at Foreign Policy is a Ridiculous Question.

What President will be better at anything is a waste of fucking time.  We shouldn't even have a President if we had any self respect as "free" humans.  People talk about freedom while they vote for these corrupt politicians in a corrupt political system to run a corrupt government, what an unbelievably stupid human practice.  

The discussions are all wrong, that's the problem.

I've tried to make this point elsewhere on blogs like Daily Kos Too (Caucus99Percent) but look at that blog today.  A veritable firestorm of Democratic party cheerleadership via their current savior, Bernie "Fake Revolutionary" Sanders.  But alas, to no avail as they used to say when?  The Middle Ages?  I don't know, it still works. "Alas, to no avail."  They have their heads stuck so far up Bernie's ass they can't hear the sounds of their illusions crashing all around them. 

For example.  I've heard a lot of progressives and libertarians who hate Clinton the Warmonger, say they think that Trump would be better on foreign policy than Clinton. They say Trump wouldn't attack Russia, start WWIII, and all that jazz. 

Well shit, all you have to do is listen to the dumb motherfucker and you can see he's the same as all the rest of the ruling class, completely on board with the imperialist lies and false narratives we're fed daily until most people would gladly strip search to shop at 7-11 if that's what it takes to keep their sorry asses "safe".

It's not rocket science here.  That's the problem with a lot of those who think they're fighting against the "man".  They can't get to the point.  It's like that song, "let's get to the point, let's roll another joint".  Roll another joint man, stop with the bullshit.

We live in an oligarchy, not a democracy.  An oligarchy controlled by a plutocracy.  It's called a PLUTARCHY.  We live in a PLUTARCHY.

So why the fuck are people worrying about, wondering about, and debating about who will become the next President?   It's so worthless and shows a complete lack of understanding of where we're at on this Planet Earth as human beings.  We're at a crossroads where we can collectively continue to accept this literal prison the rich and powerful are assembling around us all, or we can wake the fuck up and take control of our own lives.  Quit letting these fucking politicians controlled by the plutocracy tell us what to do, when to do it, and when to eat shit.

It's simple.

Bernie Sanders' Fake Revolution with the Democratic Party

Just think about that.  Haven't we heard that shit before?

These are establishment liberals, the most dangerous kind, that seek to steer liberal thought toward the establishment political system. Establishment liberals were instrumental in keeping the Vietnam war alive. They're the ones who support Obama's wars and the Democratic party's wars.

The article discusses Bernie Sanders' "revolution" and what's next.

"This spring, however, leaders and activists from all manner of progressive movements and organizations are rolling this stone up the hill one more time. They can recite all the reasons why Obama for America never got off the ground; some of them even worked for the Rainbow until they realized there were better places to make social change. Most of them are painfully familiar with the tragic-comic history of the American left, a largely marginal tendency in American politics that has often squandered its moments of opportunity with displays of purity and rigidity that have only left it more marginal.

"And yet, many progressives believe this time may be different. It’s not that the Sanders campaign itself has incubated some kind of permanent left formation. "Bernie hasn’t built an organization; he’s built a campaign," says one left leader. "That isn’t something that endures." The task of building that enduring something, they understand, falls to them—though Sanders himself can help them along."

So who is them?

"Leaders of unions, community-organizing groups, minority organizations and student groups, prominent environmentalists and Sanders activists, precinct walkers and online campaigners—some longtime allies, some total strangers to one another—are "all in one large, shifting conversation," in the words of one such leader, to figure out how to build the Revolution once the Sanders campaign is done.

Some are planning national conclaves, like the "People’s Summit" in Chicago in mid-June, where the disparate groups in the Sanders universe will gather to lay out a common agenda. Some are planning how to prod the delegates at the Democratic Convention (including some pledged to Clinton) to shift the party well to the left. More fundamentally, they are debating ideas on how to create something—organizations, coalitions, networks, local, state, national—that can capture and build on the energy and politics that the Sanders campaign has unleashed."

So what's it really all about?

In other words, Sanders' "political revolution" is nothing more than trying to improve the Democratic party, for the establishment liberals that means pushing it to the left and the eternal quest for more and better democrats. 

What a load of shit. What a waste of time. That ain't no revolution.

Here's what Sanders' supporters love:

"Will they come over at all? Are all these experienced activists even right in hoping that this time will be different, that this time a powerful social democratic left might just take root in America’s political soil? I think they are. Chiefly because Bernie Sanders’s campaign didn’t create a new American left."

They think they're on the cusp of something important, that they're literally leading a shift in American poltiics.

Bullshit. Most of the Sanders supporters are none other than Obama supporters, the war criminal, liar extraordinaire that still maintains an over 80% approval rating from Democrats. Sure, there are some non-Democrats supporting Sanders, including some republicans, but overall his supporters is made up of Democrats. They're the ones leading this "revolution", people who support a war criminal. Now what the hell kind of revolution is that.

Let's review the definition of Revolution:

a forcible overthrow of a government or social order in favor of a new system.

a sudden, radical, or complete changeb : a fundamental change in political organization; especially : the overthrow or renunciation of one government or ruler and the substitution of another by the governedc : activity or movement designed to effect fundamental changes in the socioeconomic situation

You know what, that's what we need in this country. Not only this country but globally. The rich rule the earth like no time before. They've achieved such control that their wealth dwarfs the combined wealth of billions on this planet. In the United States they've created a permanent underclass where half of the entire population lives at or under the poverty level. The control everything including the political system and the government. Money talks, bullshit walks, and the Serfs to them are just bullshit. We're all just bullshit.

We need a radical change in our political system and economic system. And we need it fast. People are dying, people are having their lives destroyed, forced to live under a fantastic illusion that we live in this great democracy, the protector of the world. It has to stop and we don't have decades to wait for an illusory change of the democratic party where in 30 or 40 years the situation might have shifted left enough to achieve a single payer health care system. While the wars rage on, people get killed and evicted from their homes in the name of U.S. imperialsim.

It has to stop and it won't come incrementally. It has to be in a short period of time, a rather sudden change demanded by the people. It doesn't have to be violent, it can't be violent. Like all false narratives, that's just an idea perpetuated by those that rule us to create fear about such a bold effort.

It sure as hell isn't coming from this supposed revolution by Bernie Sanders and his supporters. In fact, Sanders is hurting efforts at real change with this faux revolution talk and his faux socialist talk. I'm not convinced enough to call him disingenous, his track record doesn't indicate that. But he's certainly just another poltiician trying to skirt the edges when we need radical, and he's not a radical, not even close. He's hurting the cause and so are his supporters and time will tell that. Get back to me next year and I know I'll be proven right.

You know why it's important to call out the left. Because they're the ones talking the big game but not bringing it. They're the ones who could do something but won't because they're constantly wrapped up in establishment politics. They're the ones who still watch Meet the Press and Rachel Maddow and their local news stations, ingesting the daiily propaganda which makes it impossible for them to break through to what they think they are.

They're the democrats, they're not the repubicans. Isn't that supposed to be better? Shouldn't they be the ones who should lead a revolution to a better way of life for all?

Well maybe not. Maybe there isn't any difference between republicans and democrats. Maybe they're all just dupes who won't get out of their little oligarchy boxes.

I was asked by one why I disgusted him so much. This was from a person who is and has been a supremeo Obamabot. Why do Obamabots disgust me? Because they support a murderous war criminal, that's why. That's the thing, people are disgusted by those that supporters known murderers but when it comes to the President and our Congress, they can't seem to equate the actions they take as real crimes. So someone like war criminal Obama can illegally bomb Libya for seven months straight, killing over a hundred thousand humans and tearing the country apart, and yet they still support him.

Ya, that fucking disgusts me.
