Ruling Class Political Parties agree to Shaft the Disabled and Sick while Increasing their Military Empire

Really pissed off to hear this news:

"Congressional leaders and the White House are nearing a deal on a two-year budget agreement that would increase military and domestic spending in exchange for long-term spending cuts to programs like Social Security and Medicare."

https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/powerpost/wp/2015/10/26/congressional-leaders-closing-in-on-a-budget-deal/

It's not a done deal, it still has to go through the fake gauntlet of Congress and Senate approval.  There will be some take gnashing of the teeth from designated Democratic party ruling class representatives and more threats of some bullshit from the Republicans.  But in the end, it's We the Serfs who get the shaft and the Military Empire that will roll along like a Blob that gets bigger the more it consumes.

Here's why it will pass:

"The legislation would also likely be paired with an increase in the federal borrowing limit through March 2017, preventing a potentially disastrous default next week.

The time frames laid out in the potential deal would also effectively ensure the end to the near constant budget and debt limit fights that have dominated President Obama’s relationship with congressional Republicans by pushing the next set of fiscal deadlines into 2017 when the White House will have a new occupant."

Not only will it let the two ruling class political parties focus on the fake democratic election coming next year, but it will end the sequester cuts and allow for more increases in the military/national security/intelligence budget (imperialism budget) just in time to get back at those EVEEL Russians.

It looks like Obama got what he wanted, some long term cuts to Social Security and Medicare while putting off any talk about the incredible national debt which is approaching $20 Trillion for the next President and Congress.

"House Rules Committee Chairman Pete Sessions (R-Texas) said Boehner and Obama had been laying the groundwork for a possible deal for months.

“I think that there’s work that has gone on for several months on this so it just culminated before it had to happen,” he said."

Specifically, the cuts to Social Security and Medicare include:

"The deal would specifically extend the 2 percent payment cut to Medicare under the sequester and create a “flat benefit” for disability recipients, which would be tied to the federal poverty line rather than an individual’s own savings. Budget experts at the Heritage Foundation have championed the flat benefit.

“This would be the first significant reform to Social Security since 1983, and would result in $168 billion long-term savings,” according to a source familiar with the talks."

http://thehill.com/policy/finance/258091-white-house-gop-near-two-year-budget-deal

The HERITAGE FOUNDATION, a pack of traitorous sociopaths intent on creating a trillionaire class on Planet Earth while letting the rest of us live like rats.  The people at the Heritage Foundation should be exiled from this country and placed on a outlier planet in another galaxy.   That's after they're paraded through every small town in America with yokes around their necks and signs that say "Kick me - HARD!"

I think this further shows that the Bernie Sanders campaign for President is a joke, a fraud.  The next President is going to face a national debt of $20 trillion, a huge budget deficit, and an Empire on the ropes.  That is not a recipe for taking care of the serfs, it's a recipe for austerity like we've seen in Greece.  It's coming here and it's coming hard. There won't be any room for free college and Medicare for all.

Boycott the 2016 election.  Withdraw Consent.  It's the only option.  We have to withdraw our consent to be governed by these fuckers and tear down their institutions and organizations.

What Happened to the Antiwar Movement?

Many have lamented the absence of an antiwar movement in this country during President Obama's tenure as Warmonger in Chief.

Well, there is one but it's pretty small and includes people that are largely ignored by the pretenders and the ruling class media.  There are plenty of people and organizations that are still very active in antiwar and anti - imperialism activities, but it's a far cry from the activities we had prior to the Iraq war in 2002/2003.

Much of that antiwar movement came from the Democrats who were more into protesting Bush than protesting the blowing up of wedding parties.  When Obama took office that became clear because any antiwar movement basically died with his Nobel Peace Prize.  Democrats believe their wars are kinder and gentler than the Republicans wars so there is no need to protest.  Bush lied about spreading democracy and helping people but the Democrats are convinced they and Obama are different.  They have to believe that or there wouldn't be this game we play between the two ruling class political parties.

Now the same thing is happening with Bernie Sanders.  It wouldn't surprise me if Bernie Sanders is awarded the Nobel Peace Prize any day now.

They're getting fooled again but they are adamant they're not.

"I want to live in a just society and I want legitimate reasons to be proud of my country - or at least to not be so fucking ashamed of it. And I want to feel that we have done absolutely everything in our power to ensure that future generations will inherit an ecologically viable world that is at peace and within which they can thrive. No more phony wars, no more trashing the planet, no more torture, no more for-profit prisons, no more trickle down bullshit, no more wealth inequality, no more tax cuts for billionaires, no more racism and no more climate change denial or do-nothingism. It's time for a change.

Don't we all know that by now?

If we are ever going to do the right thing, if we are ever going to stand up to the rich and powerful and begin to right the many terrible wrongs that persist in our nation, the time is now."

http://www.dailykos.com/story/2015/10/26/1439414/-The-unreality-of-America-and-the-importance-of-facing-facts

What this diarist is talking about is electing a Democrat for President in the form of Bernie Sanders.  That's what they're hoping will result in no more phony wars (newsflash, they're all phony wars).  He's saying that our best chance is to vote for another Democrat for President, right after we just got punk'd by the Democrat currently in office, Barack Obama.

He says we need to face facts.  Well, the facts have been thrown at these people time and time again that Bernie Sanders is an imperialist, a Zionist, and a military industrial complex supporter who parrots the same false narratives and lies concerning our "enemies" that the neocons and neoliberals spout.  He has flat out lied over and over about Putin and Russia, Ukraine, ISIS, Syria, , the War OF Terror, Al Qaeda, Afghanistan (where he just approved of Obama's decision to stay) and Libya, just like the rest of our ruling class politicians.

How can anyone think things would change under Sanders when he buys into the Empire's Lies about U.S. imperialism lock, stock, barrel, and drone?  That either indicates a will to ignore facts or ignorance of the facts.

Those are the facts but they don't want to hear them.  They're convinced somehow that Sanders is different.  They forget the things Obama said in 2007/2008 when he was campaigning as an anti-phony war candidate.

That's where the antiwar movement went.  It's an anti-phony war movement that refuses to face the facts that all wars are phony and U.S. imperialism won't be stopped by a 74 year old Jew from Vermont.

Sanders has no chance anyway, he won't be the next President.  So we'll see what happens to the antiwar movement after he's out of the race.

What I think is most of it has been fake or misguided in the past so there's no reason to believe that will change.  Too many confused people who won't face the facts.

The rest of us that aren't part of the ruling class political parties will have to carry on.

Does Hillary Clinton have a Laughing Medical Condition?

Hillary Clinton was laughing again.  This time at the Benghazi off-Broadway theatrical performance called a "hearing".

She does seem to have a problem with laughing at inappropriate times.  Remember this one?

I suppose it's no laughing matter though.  There are many people that have moderate to serious problems relative to inappropriate laughter.

But I wonder, could Hillary Clinton have "Pseudobulbar affect (PBA), emotional lability, labile affect, or emotional incontinence which refers to a neurologic disorder characterized by involuntary crying or uncontrollable episodes of crying and/or laughing, or other emotional displays."

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pseudobulbar_affect

Common cause include:
Drug intoxication
Substance abuse
Dementia
Temporal lobe injury
Alcohol intoxication

Tic disorders
Tourette syndrome
Social anxiety
Angelman syndrome
Pseudobulbar palsy
Gelastic epilepsy
Brain tumors
Multiple sclerosis
Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis

I've not seen her cry though and evidently she doesn't sweat.  That could also indicate a medical condition.

Hey, I'm not saying medical conditions should bar people from seeking political office.  Hell no.  I've got my own medical conditions.  If anyone reading this doesn't have any medical conditions, consider yourself lucky and keep your fingers crossed.  But the President of the United States is a one of a kind job that carries with it special responsibilities.

What if Hillary Clinton became President and when giving her inauguration address she started laughing hysterically when talking about the future of this country?  What if she started cackling like a hyena when giving an address in front of the nation announcing the bombing of Iran?  What if the Secret Service has to carry her out of the Oval Office during a weekly address because she's worked herself to tears and starts rolling on the Oval Office rug?  What if she starts laughing uncontrollably when talking on the phone to Vladimir Putin?

It wouldn't look good for Americans to have this happen.

Maybe she needs to be checked out.

Laugh of the Day from Bernie Sanders Supporters

Here's a rather hilarious bit from a Daily Kos Bernie Sanders supporter in a diary about Chris Hedges accusing Sanders of being an AIPAC windup doll and a democratic party sellout.

"Hedges opposed Obama both in 2008 and 2012 (1+ / 0-)
Recommended by:
James Allen
in the general election. Why should anyone on DKos pay any attention to him?

Why indeed.   I'm sure that's someone who doesn't get his own joke.  What was that song?  "I started a joke, that got the whole world laughing, but I didn't see, that the joke was on me".

That ladies and gentlemen is a typical Bernie Sanders supporter, i.e., an Obamabot looking for more of that hopey changey stuff and willing to excuse more than a Bush family member at Thanksgiving.

Not to be outdone by himself, this Bernie supporter doubled down his bet with this one:

"And it certainly is NOT progressive (0+ / 0-)

to be on the side of violent misogynist homophobic anti-Semitic fundamentalist religious terrorists who started a war in which every almost every one of their acts of war was a war crime. Bernie Sanders told hecklers who took that position to "Shut up" and he was right.

That was in reference to the video of Bernie Sanders telling protesters to "Shut up" while defending Israel's illegal and inhumane attack on the human beings in Gaza in Israel's 2014 "Operation Protective Edge. "

Hey Bernie, it was the Indian's own damn fault wasn't it?  They shouldn't have been in our country, the fools.

To top it off with another excuse why Bernie can't say this or that (until he's elected of course, then he'll become, you guessed it, Superman!), this Sanders supporter makes the case that if Bernie came out supporting the Palestinians he'd have no chance at getting elected.  Sound familiar?  It's the same line given relative to Bernie's foreign policy stances.  He just can't say what he wants because then he wouldn't get elected.  Which is bullshit of course.  Like Hedges said, Sanders is an AIPAC windup doll, i.e., a Zionist, as well as an imperialist.

It's funny how he can call out the billionaires and wealth inequality and presumably still get elected but can't call out the illegal wars of aggression, U.S. imperialism, and Israeli apartheid of these same billionaires because then he couldn't get elected.  Ya, funny.

"I don't think an overtly pro-Palestine (0+ / 0-)

candidate could ever get nominated from either party, much less elected.
Israel has America's total backing, and everybody knows that.
I know you believe you understood what you think I said, but I'm not sure you realize that what you heard is not what I meant. -- S.I. Hayakawa.

  • Bernie Sanders defends Obama's handling of the Economy, Claims Obama made "Real Progress"

In this speech, Bernie Sanders comes out against the republicans and their handling of the economy under George W. Bush.  Typical ruling class political party language.  But notice how Bernie the Independent seamlessly defends the democratic party and it's war criminal leaders.

"Everybody knows that thanks to the President and the Vice President we have made real progress in improving our economy" (1:45 mark in the video).

There you have it.  Bernie Sanders is defending Obama and Biden and claiming that their democratic party administration has made "real progress in improving our economy".

Which is absolute bullshit.  The economy has improved for the top 20% and really, really improved for the top .001%.  The rest of us continue to fall behind, stagnate and suffer because of the criminal activities of "our" ruling class.

Since Obama took office the rich have continued to get richer at an astounding pace.  More people than ever live in poverty, more children live in poverty, more people are dependent on the government for welfare and other subsidies, more people are not working than ever, more people are struggling with debt and more people are facing nearly insurmountable obstacles to find economic security.

Obama and Biden haven't done shit to stop the bleeding, absolutely nothing has been done to end the criminal financial enterprises that are fleecing the public.  There are clear indications that we're heading for an even worse recession than 2008 which was caused not only by the Bush administration but the Democratic party Clinton administration before it.

10 Charts Which Show We Are Much Worse Off Than Just Before The Last Economic Crisis

     http://www.washingtonsblog.com/2015/03/10-charts-show-much-worse-just-last-economic-crisis.html

Bernie Sanders just proved once again that he's just another one of "them".  One of the sycophant ruling class politicians who will lie and deceive to get you to vote for their ruling class political parties.   He's placed his reputation on economic matters while flailing about on foreign policy because he's an imperialist for all practical purposes.  But now, with his defending of Obama's performance on the economy he has shown he is no better on economic issues and just another political party attack dog.

And isn't it a bit odd that he's been saying that all the wealth is going to the top and how terrible the wealth inequality situation is and how nothing has been done to stop it, and now he's saying "real progress" has been made?

Nothing but more hopey changey bullshit.

Tony Blair and George W. Bush - "We think it was worth it"

Remember the infamous video of former President William "War Criminal Too" Clinton's Secretary of State, Madeleine "We think it was worth it" Albright when she tried to justify her and her boss's mass murder of 500,000 Iraqi children via U.S. led economic sanctions?

Ya, Iraq.  In the 1990's after George H.W. Bush did his ruling class duty with the first American led "Shock and Awe" military assault on Iraq. They're still in that country trying to destroy anything that hasn't already been destroyed.  They're still killing children.

Now Tony Blair and George W. Bush are doing the Albright.  Psychopaths in action.

Tony Blair says he's sorry for Iraq War 'mistakes,' but not for ousting Saddam

    http://www.cnn.com/2015/10/25/europe/tony-blair-iraq-war/index.html

"Former British Prime Minister Tony Blair says he's sorry for "mistakes" made in the U.S.-led invasion of Iraq in 2003, but he doesn't regret bringing down dictator Saddam Hussein.

Blair told Zakaria that besides the flawed Iraq intelligence, he also apologizes "for some of the mistakes in planning and, certainly, our mistake in our understanding of what would happen once you removed the regime.
But he stopped short of a full apology for the war.

"I find it hard to apologize for removing Saddam. I think, even from today in 2015, it is better that he's not there than that he is there," Blair said."

So what did this low life Brit just say?  Exactly, he said the same fucking thing Albright did about her and Bill's actions in Iraq, "it was worth it".  Over one million people killed and "it was worth it" because Saddam isn't there anymore.

And the ruling class media reports it without calling the bastard a mass murdering war criminal that should be put in a cell with rats and cockroaches until he dies.

It's up to the people now.  We know the truth, we know they lied, people died, and it was not about mistakes, it was about a criminal enterprise murdering it's way to more power and wealth.  There are some people that won't rest until Blair is put in that cell, he and Bush.  Thank you to them, I wish them luck.  We all should wish them luck and give them any help we can.

The entire American and British populations are responsible for their government's actions.  Our governments "represent" us, they take actions in our names.  These people have to be arrested and put on trial for these crimes.  If not, we are absolutely screwed because without truth and justice, there is nothing.

    Revolutionary Ways

It became violent in Ukraine.  It became violent in Libya and Syria.  It can become violent anywhere because they make it that way, the deciders.  When it happens in the United States of America, the Second Revolution, it won't be entirely peaceful or non-violent.  That's not the way humans work.  History proves it.

Why should the United States of America, land of the free, home of the brave and 300 million guns, and purveyor of global violence, be any different?

But, there are other ways we can work on while waiting for the shit to hit the fan.  Gene Sharp, a dude from the past, made a list.  It's a good list.  There are some who think Gene Sharp was a CIA plant, or an Illuminati ghost with ulterior motives. Who knows.  Shit, ulterior motives are every fucking where now man.  You have to think on your feet, or your seat, to keep in this game. Either figure it out on your own or they'll figure it out for you.

    It's still a good list.

I like number 124 - boycott elections.  It's too bad those with the wherewithal to facilitate such an action, like those that claim to be the antiwar left, are too chickenshit to see the possibilities.  Chickenshit in that they haven't broke on through to the other side.  They're still melded to their manufactured consciousness in ways they don't even realize.  It takes complete surrender to your inner soul to escape the lifetime of conditioning.

Until then, we're all just chickenshits.

But really, do you mean to tell me, Big Al, that if the Presidential election comes down to Clinton vs. Bush, or Clinton vs. Trump, the so called, and I say so called because most of you fuckers aren't acting like it and haven't since Obama took center stage (reference - see countless articles titled, "Where the fuck did the antiwar movement go"?), that there won't be an organized and vociferous boycott of the Presidential election?!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!   Instead, you'll all just vote for Jill "I am Not a Zionist" Stein and think that will mean anything?

Come on man, we have to try SOMETHING.
