Much is being made about Bernie Sanders throwing his support behind Joe Biden, with many of his supporters crying in their beer, or lattes, and threatening to vote for Trump or some such idiotic nonsense.
Now Bernie has come out and said that any of his supporters that don't get behind Joe Biden to rid ourselves of the most dangerous human on the planet, well, they're irresponsible. Even though I've been a frequent critic of Sanders, I have to agree with him on that.
What strikes me about the whole thing is how infatuated his supporters have been, most forgiving him for his capitulation last election to Hillary Clinton and his resultant call to support her. And now, with the true Trump on full display, they just don't get it. They got fooled again, so instead of recognizing that they're fools, they stubbornly decide to take it out on the rest of us. Because they thought they could get a pony, and that was never going to happen.
I'm the last person to vote for Biden, I hate the guy. But there is a clear and present danger in the White House and the thing to remember is it won't be Biden, it will be the oligarchy. Let's get rid of Trump and go after the oligarchy. You see, Trump might be at odds with parts of the oligarchy, but he's not our friend, and he's not the answer. His evil and danger is the same thing only different.
But I won't count on Sanders supporters for the last part, i.e., going after the oligarchy. They've already proven they aren't up to that. Because Sanders was always what he was, a Democratic party politician. There's only a small percentage of people on this planet that have the guts to do what needs to be done.
